Performance Caspian Horses

The Caspian Horse is one of the world’s most ancient horse breeds, with roots tracing back over 3,000 years to the rugged terrains of Northern Iran. Once thought extinct, this noble breed was rediscovered in the 1960s by Louise Firouz, an American breeder living in Iran. The Caspian Horse is believed to be the direct ancestor of the Arab horse, influencing the development of many modern breeds.

Don't let their small size fool you – Caspian Horses are agile, strong, and versatile. Standing between 10 to 12 hands high, they are perfect for small adults and children. Despite their size, they have remarkable endurance, speed, and jumping ability. Caspians excel in various disciplines, including show jumping, dressage, driving, and even as companions for therapy work. Their versatility makes them a valuable addition to any stable.
