The Caspian Horse is one of the world’s most ancient horse breeds, with roots tracing back over 3,000 years to the rugged terrains of Northern Iran. Once thought extinct, this noble breed was rediscovered in the 1960s by Louise Firouz, an American breeder living in Iran. The Caspian Horse is believed to be the direct ancestor of the Arab horse, influencing the development of many modern breeds.
